We are committed to ensuring every child is supported to be the best they can be and to reach their full potential. At times, this means providing additional programmes to support the learning of individual students and specific groups.
We use assessment data purposefully and effectively to identify students’ strengths and areas for development across the curriculum. This enables us to respond quickly and provide targeted support where it is needed most.
Our tailored approach ensures that interventions are designed around individual learning needs and, where appropriate, involve collaboration with external agencies to provide specialised support and enhance student achievement and inclusion.
The Board has invested in building staff capability to strengthen literacy and numeracy outcomes.
Six teacher aides have been upskilled in Better Start Literacy and Numicon, and we have appointed a dedicated full-time Literacy Support Teacher.
In 2026, this role will expand from supporting students in Years 0–2 to also include Years 3–6, enabling us to extend targeted literacy support across the school.
In addition, we will implement mathematics intervention programmes in 2026 for both junior and senior students.
Through these initiatives, we aim to ensure that all targeted interventions are responsive, effective, and equitable—providing every learner with the opportunity to succeed.
