2026 Class Newsletters

We have two Roopu at Whanganui East School: Roopu Tui and Roopu Kereru.

Roopu Tui is our Years 0 to 3, where we have excited and inquisitive minds to support and grow.

Roopu Kereru are our fabulous senior students, Years 4 to 6. They have a stronger belief in themselves, who they are, and what they bring with them.  

They are great support buddies to our younger students and thrive in their tuakana teina roles. 

This Roopu is where students strive to become the leaders of our kura, Respect Leaders, Librarians, Road Patrollers and Kaea of our  Te Rōpū o Tōtara Puku Kapa Haka Roopu.
