Dear Whānau,

Thank you for inquiring about Whanganui East School.  

Room Four is our New Entrant classroom, and I (Mrs Ray) am the classroom teacher.  We are flexible with the days and times for classroom visits and will work with you as to what day/s and times best suit your schedule.  We would like to have at least six visits before your child starts school; this way, they and you will have a good understanding of how Room 4 works and plays, and our school expectations.

Our daily timetable is below:

8.55 - School Starts 

9.00 am - Tikanga - Hauora - Class Learning Block

10.30 am to 10.45 am - Morning Tea Play

10.45 am to 10.55 am - Morning Tea Kai

11 am to 1 pm - Class Learning Block

1 pm to 1.15 pm - Lunch Kai

1.15 pm to 1.45 - Lunch Play

1.45 pm - Roll 

1.50 pm to 2.45 - Class Learning Block

2.50 - Home time
